WHRS (Waste Heat Recovery Systems)

We have developed systems for heat recovery using heat exchangers, heat pipes, thermoelectric generators and turbines. We work on the TA03030278 research and development project together with our partners: Institute of Physics AV ČR v.v.i. and ŠKODA AUTO a.s.

Optics

We have been working on the development of algorithms for movement tracking, and deformation and change detection from image recordings.

  1. These algorithms are used in engineering applications to analyze vibration, deformation and motion of measurement systems. We work on the FR-TI3/798 research and development project.

S.H.E.E. (Self-deployable Habitat for Extreme Enviroments)

We work on the FP7-SPACE-2012-312747 project S.H.E.E. together with other partners. The goal of the S.H.E.E. project is to develop a planetary habitat testbed for terrestrial analogue simulations. The SHEE habitat will provide significant background for further development and evolution of extra-terrestrial habitable structures.
